Selection Process
Editors are selected based on the following criteria:

- Publication Track Record: A history of publications in reputable journals, indicating a strong understanding of the research process.

Editors are chosen solely based on these criteria, ensuring that decisions are free from bias regarding nationality, gender, religion, ethnicity, or other personal attributes.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of editors is to uphold and enhance the scientific quality of submitted manuscripts. To achieve this, editors must adhere to the following responsibilities:
- Impartiality: Editors must not discriminate against authors based on nationality, gender, religion, ethnicity, or any other personal attributes. They should evaluate manuscripts solely on their scientific merit.
- Avoidance of Bias: Editors must remain unbiased regarding the origins of the authors and focus on the quality and relevance of the research.
- Citation Integrity: Editors must not engage in citation manipulation. They should not compel authors to cite the editor’s own publications or any particular references unless it genuinely enhances the quality and context of the manuscript.
Editors are expected to:
- Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts, ensuring that details are not disclosed to anyone outside the editorial process.
- Conflict of Interest: Declare any potential conflicts of interest as stated here. If an editor has a conflict of interest with a particular manuscript, they should refuse themselves from handling that manuscript.

Handling of Editors' Manuscripts
Manuscripts submitted by editors themselves will undergo a rigorous and independent review process to avoid any potential conflicts of interest or biases. This process includes:
- Independent Review: Manuscripts will be reviewed by at least two independent experts in the field who are not affiliated with the editor who submitted the manuscript.
- Addressing Reviewer Comments: The editor-author must thoroughly address all comments and feedback from the reviewers. This ensures that the manuscript meets the journal’s standards and addresses any identified issues.
- Verification: After revisions, the resubmitted manuscript will be reviewed again by the initial reviewers to verify that all concerns have been adequately addressed and that the manuscript complies with the journal’s standards.
- Final Decision: The final decision on the manuscript will be made based on the reviewers’ evaluations, ensuring a fair and unbiased outcome.
